2001, I quit my accounting career to become a special education teacher. For three years I struggled to keep up with the administrative requirements, and ended up working 74 hours a week(burned out and depressed). I was told by my adoption agency that my husband and I wouldn't be able to get a home study. In Nov 2005, I quit teaching and went back into accounting and office managing at a local company. 2006 My first agency suggested therapy for my childhood abuse. At the first session, my counselor suggested that I might have ADD. A month later, I was diagnosed with mild to moderate (more moderate) ADD. I have been taking medication and working on better organizing things, both have made a huge impact on my life. Until this treatment, I had always had rough time in school and my career, but I am much better off.
